May is National Pet Month

In May of each year, we celebrate National Pet Month and it is the perfect time to celebrate the love and benefits our pets contribute to our lives. These special kitty cats are part of our pet family here at Pet and People Sitters. Baby Bear was adopted from Denver Animal Shelter. Tipsy was adopted from Crumbs and Whiskers Kitten and Cat Cafe in Washington DC and Banzai was adopted from Pounce Cat Cafe in Charleston, South Carolina.

Cat cafes are increasing in popularity as a place to come and love on cats and help them socialize while they are waiting for their furever home. Contrary to the name, the draw isn’t on the “cafe” portion, but rather on hanging out with rescue cats who are up for adoption. Denver has a few cat cafes so go check one out.

We love to celebrate pets every month at PPS, but this month we’re especially thankful for the pets that you entrust to our care.
